Phil Cody

Phil Cody is a Finance Partner at Arthur Cox, a leading Irish law firm, where they head the Derivatives & Trading Practice. With extensive experience across various finance areas, including DCM, structured finance, and derivatives, they serve as a trusted adviser to Ireland's major financial institutions and corporations. Phil began their legal career as a trainee solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, followed by a role as a solicitor at McCann FitzGerald. They have also managed Arthur Cox's New York representative office from 2017 to 2020. Phil holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Trinity College, Dublin, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
