Article 33 Indonesia is a research-based advocacy institution with a desire to uphold the noble ideals of article 33 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, especially verse 3: 

“The earth and water and natural resources contained therein shall be controlled by the State and be utilized for the greatest prosperity of the people.” 

We consider those ideals represent our vision and mission:  
VISION: Uphold the people's sovereignty over natural resources as stated in the Article 33 of 1945 Constitution.
MISSION: Ensuring justice and public participation related to basic services and extractive industries in order to achieve economic democracy.
