Desiree Pinder

Desiree Pinder has worked in a variety of roles since 1996. Desiree began their career at State Farm Insurance as a Training Manager, CRC Team Leader, CRC Training Specialist, and Fire Underwriter. In 2004, they co-founded E-Learning Uncovered and Artisan E-Learning. Additionally, they served on the Board of Directors for ATD of Northeast Florida from 2004 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as an E-Learning Consultant and Gamification Master Craftsman for XP Learning, Inc. Desiree then moved on to become the Manager of eLearning for Karmak. In 2018, they also served as the Executive Director for Hotel for Squirrels, Inc., where they helped care for and rehabilitate orphaned and injured wild and exotic animals.

Desiree Pinder's education history includes a Master's degree in Communication from Illinois State University, obtained between 1994 and 1996, a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Psychology from Eastern Illinois University, obtained between 1990 and 1992, and attendance at Lincoln College between 1989 and 1990, studying Theater and Lincoln Express. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications: a Level 3: Gamification Master Craftsman Certification from Sententia Gamification in April 2020, a Master Craftsman Gamification Certification from Sententia, Inc in August 2019, a Level 1 Gamification Apprentice Certification from Sententia Gamification in October 2018, and a Gamification Explorer Badge from Sententia Gamification in September 2018.
