Alan Langmann

Alan Langmann has extensive experience in the field of information security and audit. Alan started their career as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young, where they gained comprehensive training and experience in computer control reviews. Alan then moved on to Fortis, where they served as a Senior Information Systems Internal Auditor, managing various technical and process reviews. After that, they joined Jostens as an Information Systems Auditor, where they performed a wide range of audits and was selected for a telecommunications evaluation and negotiations project with significant savings. Alan then joined Marshall & Ilsley Corporation as an Information Systems Audit Manager, where they realigned the department to become a strategic partner with senior management and implemented an IT audit consulting team. At Metavante, they served as an Information Security Manager, collaborating with business units to improve security processes and developing a world-class incident response team. Alan then worked at FIS as an Information Security Senior Manager, where they were responsible for developing and managing global incident response and security testing programs. Currently, Alan Langmann is a Chief Information Security Officer at Artisan Partners, where they were hired to develop, implement, and manage a strategic information security program. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated expertise in information security and has contributed significantly to the organizations they have worked for.

Alan Langmann attended Iowa State University from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Alan has acquired several additional certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from AICPA, Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from AICPA, and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) from LOMA.
