David Hetzer

David Hetzer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management. Currently serving as Director at Artisan Partners since September 2022, Hetzer previously held the role of Client Portfolio Manager at GQG Partners from January 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, Hetzer was with Meketa Investment Group from February 2011 to January 2021, where responsibilities included leading long-only equity manager research and active participation in the Global Macroeconomic Investment Committee. Notably, Hetzer was nominated to the 2019 Citywire Professional Buyer Rising Stars list. Early career experiences included roles as an Investment Data Analyst at TVC Capital and as a Research Analyst Intern at The Griswold Co., following an academic background in Business Economics and Finance from the University of San Diego.
