Peter D. Smith

Peter D. Smith has extensive experience in tax management and advisory roles, currently serving as an Advisory Council Member for the Internal Revenue Service and as Assistant Treasurer for Artisan Partners Funds, Inc. Since 2014, Peter D. Smith has held various positions at Artisan Partners, including Senior Tax Manager, Tax Manager, and Tax Specialist. Prior to this, Peter D. Smith was with PwC as a Senior Tax Associate and Tax Associate from 2009 to 2013. Peter D. Smith began the career with an internship at Artisan Partners in 2006. Peter D. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University in 2008.
