The AVY, short for Artisans Vignerons d’Yvorne, is a cooperative founded in 1902. Today, our team of ten experts makes and markets Swiss wine from the local produce of its 120 members.

The whites, reds, sweet wines and sparkling wines bearing the Yvorne Chablais AOC appellation are produced mainly from grapes grown on 55 hectares of our total production area of 160 hectares. Chasselas accounts for 83% of production, noble white grape varieties such as Doral, Viognier, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Blanc account for 2%, while wines made from noble red grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Gamay, Gamaret, Garanoir, Dakapo, Cabernet Franc, Gallota, Mara and Diolinoir make up the remaining 15%.

Our exceptional wines, produced from grapes grown in the Vaud canton, reflect a combination of traditional Swiss savoir-faire and modern technology. Looking ahead, our aim is to make ever more generous and elegant wines – qualities for which our fine Swiss wines are regularly singled out and awarded.
