Mark Barna

Mark Barna has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Mark is currently working as an AI Scientist at Artisight since October 2021. Prior to Artisight, Mark worked at IQVIA from November 2020 to September 2021 as a Machine Learning Lead and from April 2019 to November 2020 as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Before that, they were a Data Science Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from September 2018 to March 2019.

Mark also has experience outside the field of data science. Mark worked as an Associate General Manager at Foresight Theatrical from December 2009 to August 2018. In addition, they served as a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute for a short period from September 2015 to December 2015, where they focused on clean energy solutions and policy.

Mark's earlier roles include working as a Company Manager at Million Dollar Quartet from July 2011 to July 2012. Mark was responsible for generating ticketing reports, analyzing sales data, and managing payroll for the production. Mark also worked as a Producer/Founding Board Member at Filament Theatre Ensemble from September 2007 to December 2010 and as an Assistant General Manager at 101 Productions, Ltd. from November 2007 to December 2009. Mark briefly worked as a Company Manager at the New Island Festival in August 2009.

Mark Barna attended the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy from 1999 to 2003. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Theatre, Film, and Communications from Northwestern University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Mark pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Science at The George Washington University. In 2023, they obtained a Board Prep Program certification from Young Involved Philadelphia.
