Sarah Maisel is an accomplished musician, educator, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the music industry and costume technology. As the Founder and Board President of Four Strings at a Time since May 2023, Sarah focuses on enriching lives through music and the ukulele. In addition to serving as Vice President of Manoa Mist Productions LLC and a Musician and Teacher at ArtistWorks.com, Sarah has maintained a musical career since 2009, currently performing as a duo. Previous roles include Draper at UC San Diego for nearly two decades, where Sarah specialized in creating patterns and sewing costumes, and as First Hand at The Old Globe. With a Bachelor's degree in Costume Technology from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Sarah's diverse skill set combines creativity and leadership in both music and theatrical arts.

ArtistWorks, is a self-funded edtech company and the sole provider and innovator of online Video Exchange Learning in music. ArtistWorks provides music instruction in 30 different musical styles and instruments through their patented (June 2015) Video Exchange platform. Online teaching faculty include multi-platinum recording artists, Grammywinners, Grammy nominees, and artists holding numerous awards from distinguished organizations around the world. The ArtistWorks Video Exchange® platform allows players of all skills and experience, to submit videos of themselves playing to an ArtistWorks teacher for his or her review. The teacher then replies to the student with a personal video response of advice on how to improve. Both student and teacher’s video are paired together and seen by the entire student community in the Video Exchange Library. With new Video Exchanges added regularly, the VE Library is always expanding and serves as a repository for deeper and relevant instruction. Subscribing members get access to a hundreds of high-resolution video lessons recorded by each teacher, which includes multi-angle camera view selection, slow motion capability and video looping. Although Video Exchange Learning is central to ArtistWorks, the platform includes multiple, digital tools that allow members to customize their learning experience as well as self-curate thousands of hours of content.
