Chris Joyner

Chris Joyner is a data scientist currently employed at Artlist since November 2023, having previously worked in the same role at SymphonyAI Sensa from June 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included utilizing machine learning models to detect money laundering in financial datasets. Prior to these positions, Chris served as a postdoctoral researcher in computer science at Queen Mary University of London from February 2015 to November 2021, focusing on machine learning and Bayesian Networks in collaboration with healthcare professionals, and also held a teaching fellow position overseeing courses in measure theory and dynamical systems. Earlier career highlights include a Leverhulme Early Career Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where research concentrated on random matrix theory and quantum graphs. Chris holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Bristol and a Master of Science in Mathematical Physics from the University of Nottingham.
