Artolution
Emma Altman is a Founder and Creative Director with extensive experience in the fashion industry since 2013, focusing on creating vegan and cruelty-free apparel and accessories in New York City. Currently serving as a Global Fashion & Costume Design Specialist at Artolution, Altman conducts workshops in refugee settlements, teaching sewing skills and sustainable design practices. As a Fashion Arts Specialist with Harlem Children's Zone, lesson plans for high school students on fashion design are developed and executed. In addition, Altman fulfills roles as a portfolio reviewer and guest lecturer at the Rhode Island School of Design, and has held positions as a CAD Designer at Victoria's Secret Pink and as a design intern at notable brands including Betsey Johnson. Altman holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Apparel Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
