Josh Young

Josh Young is the current Portfolio Manager at Artorius. Prior to this, they worked at the Tilney Group from May 2016 to April 2019, where they held the title of Trainee Investment Manager.

During their time at Tilney, Josh was responsible for assisting Investment Managers with portfolio reviews, acting as a point of contact for clients, answering queries and acting on their instructions, and assisting with business development through communications and outreach with medium-high level income charities in the region. Josh was also selected to be a part of the Tilney Academy, a nationwide programme for promising individuals within the organisation, undertaking project work in order to present findings to the exec board.

In addition to their day-to-day responsibilities, Josh also led in-house investment meetings on a quarterly basis at Tilney, providing an overview of changes to the reference portfolios to the Cambridge team. Josh also regularly liaised with the central research team at Tilney to distil the latest market insights into digestible updates.

Josh Young completed a certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Josh also holds a diploma in Investment Advice from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, as well as a certificate in Investment Operations from the same institute. In addition, they have a Higher Cert in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, and they studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics at Birchwood High School, where they achieved grades AAB. Josh also attended The Bishop's Stortford High School.
