Chris Penney

Chris Penney has held a variety of roles in the software development industry. In 1988, they were the Director of Software Development at Equifax National Decision Systems. In 1999, they were a Contract Software Engineer at Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence, where they designed and implemented components of a web-based data-retrieval system. In 2000, they were a Contract Programmer at Art & Logic. Finally, in 2001, they became the Owner/President of Funkyzen Enterprises, Inc., where they worked on numerous platforms and projects, from iPhone and Android mobile app development to project and team management. Chris has managed several projects for Art & Logic and has experience managing small development teams, managing clients and client expectations, developing requirements, proposals, estimates, and project plans, and balancing budgets and schedules.

Chris Penney obtained a MA in Computer Music and Composition from UC San Diego between 1985 and 1988. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Music from Yale University between 1979 and 1983.
