Paul Hendry

Paul Hendry has over 10 years of experience in software development. In 2011, they began their career as a Software Developer Co-op at Sun Life Financial. In 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Magnet Forensics as a Software Developer, where they focused on developing their Internet Evidence Finder software. In 2016, they joined Telmediq as a Full-Stack Software Developer, where they tackled the challenges of building a stable foundation out of the company's fast-moving startup roots. Paul then worked at Tesera Systems Inc. as a Systems Developer, where they built skills in front-end web development with React and Redux, and in back-end development with Node. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Reliable Controls as a Software Developer, where they modernized a data visualization and reporting product. Since 2019, they have been working at Art+Logic as a Senior Software Developer and Staff Engineer, where they build high-quality web applications in a variety of frameworks and takes on additional duties such as research to maintain their technical expertise and writing technical "best practices" documentation.

Paul Hendry earned a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science, Combinatorics & Optimization (Joint major) from the University of Waterloo between 2009 and 2013.
