The Arts Active Trust is an independent charitable trust supporting people to enjoy the arts through its programme of creative, participatory activities based in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
 
The Arts Active programme takes its inspiration from the diverse programme at the venue and capitalises on the expertise and resources they have, using them as a powerful catalyst for creative endeavours. We aim to encourage people, from the youngest to oldest, to engage in and enjoy arts activity.
 
The Trust believes passionately in the power of the high quality arts projects to engage, inspire and transform people’s lives no matter what their economic, cultural and social context may be.
 
As a charitable organisation Arts Active Trust relies on support from the corporate sector, trusts and foundations and individuals in order to continue to develop its community engagement, working with schools, communities and disadvantaged groups throughout Wales.
 
The Arts Active Trust works closely with and receives support from Cardiff Council to deliver the Arts Active programme.
