Amy Oppio

Amy Oppio is an arts and culture executive who has led the Nevada Museum of Art as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director since 2005. Under their leadership, the museum's operating budget grew from $2M to $7M, and they implemented various programs that enhanced audience engagement and visibility. Currently, Amy oversees a $48M capital expansion project set to open in 2025, while also managing acclaimed projects and initiatives that furthered the museum's prominence. They serve on the Board of Directors for both the Western Museums Association and ArtTable, supporting the advancement of women and non-binary professionals in the visual arts. With a background in public relations and marketing, Amy established significant promotional partnerships that garnered national attention.
