Aditya Khandekar

Aditya Khandekar has a diverse professional background in engineering and research, with experience spanning various prestigious organizations. Starting as a Summer Intern at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Khandekar later took on roles as a Project Trainee at Larsen & Toubro Limited and a Research Intern at The Energy and Resources Institute. Additional internships included positions at the International Renewable Energy Agency and TwingTec AG. Khandekar served as an Associate Research Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation and contributed to UC Berkeley as both a Graduate Student Instructor and Graduate Student Researcher. Most recently, Khandekar has been working as a Principal Decarbonisation Consultant at Arup since March 2022, following a significant tenure as a Senior Research Engineer at Berkeley Lab from July 2016 to March 2022. Khandekar holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, a Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Professional Certificate from the same institution.
