Adrian Anderson

Adrian Anderson is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering, infrastructure, and sustainability. Currently serving as the Industrial Decarb Lead at Arup since November 2018, Adrian focuses on advancing value-driven advisory and engineering services across Canada while previously holding the position of Senior Infrastructure Advisory Consultant, emphasizing the low carbon transition. Prior to Arup, Adrian worked at Parsons Corporation as a Senior Consultant and Interface Manager for Dubai's first autonomous public transport project. Experience also includes tenure as a Sustainability Consultant at Five Oceans Environmental Services LLC, where Adrian led projects related to environmental management and impact assessments in Oman. Earlier roles include General Manager at Nehemiah Ltd, overseeing the company's re-entry into the Indian market, and Project Leader at Mott MacDonald Bentley, managing complex water treatment schemes. Adrian's career began as a Project Engineer at Jacobs, primarily focused on flood defense engineering, and includes an early apprenticeship at Arup. Adrian holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol.
