Adrian Giles is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud services. Currently serving as Manager of Cloud Compute Services and previously as Manager of Compute & Storage at Arup since December 2019, Adrian has a strong background in managing IT platforms at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) from April 2007 to December 2019, including roles as Manager and Principal Technologist. Experience at AEMO involved the delivery and administration of complex infrastructure platforms utilizing VMware virtual environments, Microsoft Exchange, and various storage technologies. Prior to AEMO, Adrian held the position of EUS Tech Lead at IBM for seven years, focusing on efficiency projects within the end user services division. Adrian holds a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from Swinburne University of Technology, completed in 2014.
