Alan Jones

Alan Jones is an Associate Director and Associate Principal at Arup, where responsibilities include serving as the Mechanical Discipline Lead since March 2008. Previously, Alan gained experience as an Associate and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Capita Property and Infrastructure from April 2005 to March 2008 and as a Mechanical Engineer at Hoare Lea from September 2002 to November 2004. Alan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester (1998-2001), a Postgraduate Diploma in Building Services from Brunel University of London (2002-2005), and has pursued further education at Imperial Business School (2021-2022) and Questrom School of Business, Boston University (2016-2017) focusing on Navigating Urban Power in Cities and International Business.
