Ali Saad is currently a Senior Consultant Cities and Strategic Planning & Mobility Leader at Arup Germany while also pursuing a PhD at TU Berlin, focusing on spatial heterogeneity in urban design. Ali studied Architecture at TU Berlin and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, supported by grants from the German National Academic Foundation and the European Commission. Between 2004 and 2007, Ali held various academic positions at TU Berlin, researching post-war New Towns and urban development in unstable political contexts. Ali co-founded multiple architectural practices, including Uberbau Architecture & Urbanism and Bureau Ruiz Saad, and has contributed to significant urban projects like the Grand Paris initiative. Over the years, Ali has published extensively and participated in numerous international conferences and exhibitions.
