Alison Norrish is an Infrastructure Project Director and Design Lead at Arup, where they lead the design of major infrastructure projects in the rail, road, and aviation sectors, specializing in tunnelling and underground construction. With extensive experience across the UK, Europe, and South East Asia, Alison has successfully managed design teams and delivered significant projects, including the Crossrail/Elizabeth Line and Thames Tideway Tunnel. They hold multiple engineering degrees, including a BEng in Civil Engineering from UCL and a Post Graduate qualification in Civil Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and they are currently pursuing additional studies at the University of London. Prior to their role at Arup, Alison worked as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Richard Davies Associates and as a Geotechnical Associate at Benaim.
