Amy Carroll is an experienced economist currently serving as Associate Director - Economics N&NWY at Arup since July 2016, having previously held positions as Associate and Senior Economist. Prior to Arup, Amy worked at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd as an Economic Advisor in Strategy & Analysis from September 2011 to July 2016, and at the Department for Transport as an Assistant Economist in July 2011. Earlier roles include positions in sustainable consumption and production at Defra and international aviation and environment at the Department for Transport. Amy holds a Master of Science in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Bristol and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Glasgow, supplemented by tutoring experience at Hastings Girls' High School in New Zealand.
