Andrew Cushing, P.Eng., M.Eng., is an Associate Geotechnical and Tunneling Engineer at Arup since March 2004, holding key roles in various projects, including serving as the Geotechnical Discipline Lead for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension and as Geotechnical Engineer of Record for the Edmonton Valley Line Light Rail Transit Project. With significant experience in geotechnics and tunneling, Cushing has contributed to projects such as the East Rail Maintenance Facility for Metrolinx and the Autoroute 30 Completion Project. Cushing also serves on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Geotechnical Society and has lectured at Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Toronto. Cushing holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science specializing in Tunneling and Tunnel Boring Machines from Politecnico di Torino.
