Andy Sheppard

Andy Sheppard is an Associate Director in Sustainable Buildings at Arup, where they lead a team focused on sustainability initiatives across various projects in the North West and Yorkshire area. With a background in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge, they have developed extensive expertise in sustainability leadership, project management, and health and wellbeing within the built environment. Previously, Andy held roles as Course Director and Senior Consultant at Arup, driving education and strategy for sustainable practices, while also contributing to sustainability efforts in the UK, Middle East, and Africa. Their earlier career included engineering positions at Rover Group and Jaguar Land Rover, where they specialized in rapid prototyping and aerodynamic development.
