Aslı Karabacak is currently a Principal Engineer at ARUP. Previously, they served as a General Coordinator at ENCON from 2017 to 2023 and as a Project Manager for the UNDP, where they promoted energy efficiency in buildings in Turkey from 2014 to 2017. They also held the position of Deputy Design Manager at Sweco from 2013 to 2014 and worked as an Environmental Engineer at AKER Construction Inc. from 2008 to 2012, focusing on water and wastewater treatment projects. Aslı earned a Master of Science in Water Treatment and Membrane Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, both from Middle East Technical University.
