Brad Hartwig serves as the Intelligent Mobility Skills Leader for Australasia at Arup since February 2015, focusing on developing technical skills for transportation design and advisory services. Hartwig plays a significant role in Arup’s Global Intelligent Mobility steering committee, concentrating on business planning for services such as Congestion Pricing, Autonomous Vehicles, and Low Emission Mobility. Previous experience includes leadership roles as the Americas Smart Mobility and ITS Practice Leader, and as National ITS Manager at Transurban, overseeing toll road technology planning and project delivery. Earlier career highlights include senior consulting positions at SMS Management & Technology and Operational Concepts, as well as engineering management for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter project with the Royal Australian Air Force. Hartwig holds a Master of Commerce in E-Commerce from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from UNSW.
