Cathie Norton

Cathie Norton is an accomplished transport planning professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as an Associate and Queensland Transport Planning Leader at Arup since May 2016, Cathie has also contributed as a Project Manager and Strategic Transport Planner for the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the City of Gold Coast. Previous roles include Senior and Principal Transport Planner at Parsons Brinckerhoff and Senior Transport Planner at Atkins. Cathie holds a Master of Science in Transport Planning Practice from the University of Leeds, a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Durham University, and has completed an Arup University Masters Module in Autonomous Transport and New Mobility from the University of Oregon's Urbanism Next - Sustainable Cities Institute.
