Charles Pybus

Charles Pybus is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business and investor advisory, corporate finance, and public-private partnerships. Currently serving as the Director of Business & Investor Advisory at Arup since February 2021, Charles leads major projects advisory services, focusing on infrastructure, new nuclear initiatives, and economic regulation for organizations such as Great British Nuclear, UKAEA, and Ofgem. Previous roles include Head of Corporate Finance at HS2 Ltd, where Charles managed significant funding arrangements and treasury risks for the £55.7 billion project, and leadership positions at the Department for Energy and Climate Change and KPMG, where strategic advisory roles spanned renewable energy, carbon capture, and public-private partnerships in various sectors. Charles holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Exeter.
