Charlotte Owen is a qualified civil and structural engineer with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from Newcastle University, achieved with First Class honors. Professional experience includes roles at Arup as an Engineer and a Summer Intern in the Structures department, as well as positions at Atkins as a Graduate Engineer and Robert Bird Group as a Design Engineer. Earlier, Charlotte contributed to project management within the track renewals department at Nexus through a placement, where a feasibility study for the Tynemouth to Northumberland Park track renewal project was completed.
