Chris Barker is a Chartered Civil Engineer with twenty-five years of experience in geotechnical engineering design and construction across Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Singapore. Currently serving as the Associate Director at Ove Arup & Partners, Chris leads multi-disciplinary teams in delivering infrastructure projects for various stakeholders. Prior to this role, Chris gained experience as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Soil Mechanics Ltd and as a Geotechnical Engineer at Douglas Partners Pty Ltd. Chris holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney and an MSc DIC in Soil Mechanics from Imperial College London.
