Chris Caves is the Director of the North Transport Group at Arup, where they lead the infrastructure business in Northern Ireland. Previously, they served as the Chair of the ICE Northern Ireland Region in 2021. With extensive experience, Chris has managed significant projects such as the A8 Belfast to Larne and the Belfast Transport Hub. They earned a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering with Distinction from Queen's University Belfast, where they studied from 1986 to 1990.
