Claire Pooley

Principal ecologist

Claire Pooley is a seasoned ecologist with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. From 2006 to 2007, Claire volunteered as a Biodiversity Assistant with Avon Wildlife Trust before moving on to positions as a Biodiversity Improvement Assistant and Biodiversity Officer with the Vale of Glamorgan Council and Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, respectively. Claire held senior roles at ARCADIS CONSULTING (UK) LIMITED and David Clements Ecology Ltd from 2015 to 2020, demonstrating expertise in ecological surveys and licence applications. Currently, Claire serves as both an Associate Ecologist at Dalcour Maclaren and a Principal Ecologist at Arup. Claire also holds degrees in MSc Conservation and Biodiversity and BSc (Hons) Zoology from the University of Exeter and Cardiff University, respectively.
