David Ellis

David Ellis is currently a Director at Arup and serves as Group Leader for the Cities Planning and Design portfolio in London and the South. Leading Arup's Development Consent Order application work for Gatwick Airport's Northern Runway expansion, they oversee a diverse team of planning and design specialists. With over twenty years of experience in transportation and development planning, David has successfully contributed to projects that created over 40,000 homes and approximately 6 million square feet of employment space across multiple countries. They hold a Master of Engineering (MEng) from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
