Declan O'Shea

Declan O'Shea is an Associate in Arup’s Rail team based in the Boston office, with a strong focus on project delivery for clients such as the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) and Amtrak. Currently, Declan serves as the Horizontal Lead for the Green Line Extension project, enhancing mass transit infrastructure in the regions of Cambridge, Somerville, and Medford. In addition to this role, Declan is seconded to Warwickshire County Council as a Project Engineer, managing multiple local highways projects and overseeing various phases from design to site supervision. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Project Manager/Engineer at Hertfordshire County Council and working for Supreme Carpentry Services, where Declan developed expertise in carpentry and contributed to securing building contracts. Declan holds a BEng Hons in Structural/Civil Engineering from Cork Institute of Technology and has completed secondary education at Colaiste Choilm Secondary School.
