Dinesh Patel is an Arup Fellow and Director at Arup, where they have contributed to the field of Civil and Geotechnical engineering since 2011. With a unique expertise in providing innovative engineering solutions for complex projects, Dinesh has been recognized with 11 major industry awards and has worked on significant infrastructure projects both in the UK and internationally. Currently, they focus on developing adaptive building designs and complex foundation solutions, including a notable project involving a 25m deep basement at the Claridge's Hotel in London, featured in a BBC documentary. Dinesh is also dedicated to mentoring emerging engineers and promoting sustainable design practices in the industry. They hold a BSc MSc DIC in Soil Mechanics from Imperial College London.
