Eric Ko is a Principal at Arup, with a distinguished career beginning in October 1989 and notable contributions to innovations in structural engineering. Eric has played a key role in pioneering significant projects, such as the Unbonded Brace implementation in the US, establishing the first performance-based design at Stanford Centers for Clinical Sciences Research, and developing various base-isolated structures, including hospitals and corporate campuses. Prior to Arup, Eric served as an Engineer at URS/Blume from June 1982 to August 1987. Eric holds dual master's degrees in Structural Engineering and Structural Mechanics from the University of California, Berkeley, acquired between 1979 and 1982.
