Fung Mak

Fung Mak is a seasoned professional in the power generation and cogeneration consultancy sector, currently serving as Transaction Director at Arup since July 2011. With a background that includes significant experience as Transaction Associate Director and Senior Consultant, Fung has successfully led a team to achieve over a fivefold increase in total revenues for consultancy services focused on these sectors, particularly in the UK, Europe, and Africa. Notable project experience includes advising on high-profile projects such as the largest offshore wind farm's transmission asset and significant gas and electricity distribution businesses. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Engineer at Mott MacDonald, where responsibilities encompassed the development and monitoring of thermal generation and desalination power plants globally. Fung holds a Master of Engineering degree with distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, alongside studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
