Gabriella Marquez is a seasoned Geospatial Analyst at Arup since January 2023, previously serving as a GIS/ITS Transit Planner at Long Beach Transit from August 2016 to January 2023. In this role, Gabriella managed ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabase layers and evaluated service efficiency using data from Automated Passenger Counters and other Intelligent Transportation Systems. Responsibilities included supervising interns, distributing open source data, and analyzing ridership performance for executive reports. Gabriella also created applications in Portal for ArcGIS and managed consultant projects. Prior experience includes a service planning GIS internship, where GIS techniques were applied to mapping and transit operations analyses, as well as a student worker role at CSULB Grounds and Landscaping Services, assisting with irrigation audits. Gabriella holds an M.S. in Geographic Information Science and a B.A. in Geography from California State University, Long Beach.
