Gareth Atkins

Gareth Atkins is an accomplished Cyber Security Architect at Arup since December 2019, having previously served as a Global Cyber Security Specialist from August 2004 to March 2019, where responsibilities included managing the global security operations team, handling security incidents and response, and designing systems with a security focus. Early career experience includes roles as an IT Support Analyst at Arup, providing desktop support and managing the local IT Intranet site, and as an IT Technician at Maesteg Comprehensive School, maintaining over 500 computers. Gareth Atkins holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Studies, earned from the University of South Wales between 1999 and 2002, and has completed GCSEs at Barry Comprehensive School.
