Glen Chezzie

Glen Chezzie is a Senior Energy Engineer at Arup since January 2024, with prior experience as an Expert in Renewable Energy at 3E, where responsibilities included serving as Lender's Technical Advisor, Owner's Engineer, and Independent Engineer. Previously, Glen was a Project Engineer at Pele Green Energy, focusing on developing and operating renewable energy power plants in Africa. Glen also held the position of Project Manager at PowerCom Ltd., where contributions were made to Smart Grid solutions, and served as an Engineer in Training/Junior Engineer at Medupi Energy Resources, providing support for electrical engineering projects. Early career experiences include an internship at Lesaffre and a position as an Engineering Intern at Mine Machines/Mine Maintenance Services, gaining exposure to maintenance and mining safety. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering from Chinhoyi University of Technology and several certificates in fields such as Financial Modelling, Wind Energy Engineering, and Data Driven Innovation.
