Greg Hardie

Greg Hardie is an Associate Director at Arup, where they lead the engineering design of new build and refurbishment projects, emphasizing creative collaboration with clients and designers. Greg brings a wealth of experience in a variety of materials and structural systems, including non-conventional materials such as paper and glass. Their project portfolio spans national and international projects, with values ranging from £1k to £500m, and includes notable structures like the Castlefield Viaduct and the Reid Building at the Glasgow School of Art. Greg's academic background includes a BEng (Hons) and an MSc in Structural Engineering from the University of Liverpool, as well as an MSt from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Arup in 2003, Greg worked as a Senior Engineer at Buro Happold and as an Engineer at Whitby Bird and Partners.
