Harry Smith is a CIPM certified privacy lawyer and data privacy specialist with a wealth of experience leading enterprise privacy programs across APAC. Currently serving as the Data Privacy Manager at Arup, Harry drives privacy by design and ensures compliance with Australia’s Privacy Reform while harmonizing policies across the region. Previous roles include Senior Privacy Advisor at ACC New Zealand and Graduate Lawyer at Fyfe Karamaena Law Limited. Harry holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Otago.
