Hazel Short

Hazel Short is a Senior Engineer and Project Manager with a robust background in geotechnical engineering, having worked on large infrastructure projects in both the UK and Australia. They have experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams, clients, and stakeholders, and have held roles at Mott MacDonald, Atkins, and Arup, where they focused on ground movement impact assessments and design coordination. Hazel is a Chartered Civil Engineer, a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and an Accredited Mental Health First Aider, dedicated to fostering psychologically safe work environments. They earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from Durham University.
