Jacob Kane

Jacob Kane is an experienced professional in the hydrogen sector, currently serving as Associate Director at Arup from April 2022 to April 2025, focusing on hydrogen projects and advising both government and private sector stakeholders. Previously, Jacob held roles as Senior Consultant at Arup, where contributions included leading hydrogen development advisory projects, and as a Senior Policy Analyst at Ofgem, specializing in gas distribution regulation. Earlier experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor at HM Treasury, notably working on National Infrastructure Plans, and as an Assistant Manager at KPMG within the Economics and Disputes team. Jacob holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
