Jake Schoermer

Jake Schoermer is a highly experienced technology professional with a strong background in software development, leadership, and project management. Currently serving as the Platform Technical Lead for TotalDesign Automation at Arup since April 2022, Jake previously held the position of Software Delivery Manager at Comparethemarket.com.au, where responsibilities included overseeing software project planning and deployment while leading a team of developers. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Developer at Youfoodz, Developer at Mojo Soup, and Dev Ops Engineer at the Australian Access Federation. Jake has also been involved in politics, having run as a candidate for the Australian Greens in both the 2015 state election for Indooroopilly and the 2019 Federal election for Ryan.
