James Hare

James Hare is a Senior Building Performance, Controls & Smart Building Engineer with extensive experience at Arup since 2010, currently based in the New York office. Having previously worked in London and Beijing, James has developed expertise in mechanical, public health, and controls engineering while contributing to a variety of building services projects. James began his career at Arup in Solihull as an Electrical Engineer and held a long-term assignment in the MEP team in China. Prior to Arup, James gained project-based experience during summer placements at Siemens Power Transmission and Distribution as part of the IET Power Academy Scholarship. James holds a Master’s Degree (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester.
