Jeff Shaw has extensive experience in the lighting design and education sectors, having served in key roles such as Chairman of the Education & Membership Committee and President at the Society of Light & Lighting from May 2007 to March 2016. Prior to this, Jeff held positions as Associate Director, Lighting Designer, and Associate at Arup from December 2007 to March 2002. Early in Jeff's career, a summer internship was completed at Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design Inc in 1995. Jeff holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Architectural Engineering with Distinction from the University of Leeds (1992-1996) and another Master of Engineering (MEng) in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University (1994-1995).
