Jo da Silva DBE

Jo da Silva DBE is a Global Sustainable Development Director at Arup, where they also served as Director of Arup International Development from 2007 to 2019. They are an Arup Fellow and have been involved with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership since 2024 as a member of the Global Steering Committee, after previously serving as Guest Faculty from 2007 to 2011. Jo was the Senior Shelter Coordinator for UNHCR in 2005 and acted as Technical Director for The Resilience Shift from 2017 to 2020. They hold a degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, which they completed between 1985 and 1988.
