Jo Spencer is currently a Senior Structural Engineer at Arup in London, where they focus on sustainable design and community engagement. Jo has served as a STEM Ambassador since 2014, promoting science and engineering in local schools and colleges. They contributed to interdisciplinary research on carbon capture and storage while working as a Young Career Researcher with the Durham Energy Institute. Jo has held various leadership roles at Durham University, including President of the Engineering Society, fostering community among engineering students.
